Qatar Academy Sidra

Qatar Academy (QA) Sidra, as part of the Qatar Foundation Pre-University Education, is a non-profit, co-educational international school that offers a broad-based, international educational programme. QA Sidra was established in 2012 and is a fully authorized International Baccalaureate Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programme school. We are licensed by the Qatari Ministry of Education and fully accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).

QA Sidra is located in Education City with full access to all of the Qatar Foundation's world-class facilities. We have over 600 students, 30% Qatari students and 37+ different nationalities. Our new 'open makerspace' campus will be opening in 2021 at which point the school will begin to grow to its full capacity of 1800 students.

Salaries for teachers ranged between $42,500 US for a teacher with B.Ed and two years experience to $52,515 for a teacher with a Master’s degree and 15 years experience.

Instructional Assistant

Experience and understandings of the IBPYP, Reggio and developmental pedagogy are of an advantage as the successful candidate will be supporting the Pre-3 - KG students in their learning.

Early Learners Teacher

MYP English Acquisition

The successful candidate for this position will be willing to be part of a collaborative team who values kindness, builds strong relationships and demonstrates respect and integrity. This is a teaching role within the learning support team to provide support to learners of english as an additional language. The school is moving towards an inclusive sheltered immersion approach to language development and therefore the role will require the successful candidate to co-plan, co-teach with classroom teachers and help implement strategies across the curriculum to support learners of english as an additional language. A passion for Middle School learning is a necessity.
