Substitute Teacher

Salary: CI$125.00 / day
The Substitute Teacher is responsible for following lesson plans and substituting in classrooms, on an on call, as needed basis. This is not a full-time position. The successful candidate is required to have the following:
- Teaching Certification Required; from North America or UK preferred
- Ability to follow lesson plans and previous classroom experience required
- Formal training in child care, first aid or other related field preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, excellent communication and organizational skills

Early Childhood Teacher (Tentative)

The EC teacher is responsible for creating a safe and caring learning experiences and environments in a play-based program. Each EC educator collaborates with a team of teachers and specialists and is able to guide and work with their partner teacher assistant. The successful candidate is required to have:
• Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred) in Elementary and or Early Childhood Education
• Training in play-based pedagogy and child-directed program
• Prior experience in progressive Early Childhood education

Early Childhood Learning Support Teacher

Salary: CI $49,000 - CI$59,000 per annum
The EC Learning Support Teacher supports teaching teams, students and parents to identify student needs and to articulate or develop appropriate interventions. The EC Learning Support Teacher conducts in-house assessments or provides referrals for external testing. The EC Learning Support Teacher will maintain records of student progress and any testing and will liaise with the SST teams in the other division, in particular with the elementary SST. The successful candidate is required to have:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Special Education
- Specialized technical qualifications and experience in Special Education
- Training from an Education program or school with a US-based curricular focus in Early Childhood education.
- Conduct assessments and identify when outside educational assessments are needed.
- Experience in guiding teaching teams and facilitating professional development.
- Able to create and conduct parent informational sessions for Early Childhood

Elementary Counselor

Elementary School Guidance Counselor Salary: CI $48,000 - CI$59,000 per annum
The Elementary School Counselor is responsible for educating children holistically, guiding them in the process of becoming adept learners, supporting individual and groups of students as they face various challenges, facilitating school programs that focus on social-emotional wellbeing, and serving as a confidant and advocate for students. The successful candidate is required to have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred) in School Counseling or other counseling-related field
- Training from an Education program or school with a US-based curricular and/or Special needs/ counseling focus
- Specialized technical qualifications in the area of School Counseling

Secondary Learning Support Teacher

Salary CI$48,000 – CI$59,000 per annum
The Learning Support Teacher will be responsible for supporting the academic and social and emotional needs of students primarily within the Secondary school. He/she will predominantly work with students with reading/writing differentiation. The Learning Support Teacher will work with classroom teachers to assess students by both pushing in and pulling out in an effort to meet the varying needs of students. He/She has a pivotal role in developing collaborative relationships with administrators, teachers and parents to create individual learning plans with clearly articulated goals and strategies. Work with an individual student and after hours tutoring required. The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Education and Specialized technical qualifications in the area of Special Education
- Training from an Education program with a US-based curricular focus
- Prior experience as a teacher in a standard K-12 educational setting
- Ability to collaborate and empower classroom teachers to feel capable of meeting the needs of all students within their class

Elementary Reading Support Teacher

Salary: CI$48,000-$57,000 per annum
The Elementary Reading Support Teacher is responsible for educating children holistically, guiding them in the process of becoming adept learners, supporting Elementary students with exceptional learning challenges and assisting teachers in the process of educating these students. Under the direction of the principal, the responsibilities of the position fall into two categories. As a teacher, the reading specialist is responsible for providing direct instruction to students, individually or in small groups, to enable students to develop literacy skills. As a literacy leader, the position is responsible for implementing a comprehensive literacy program at the assigned school through coaching, supporting, and guiding teachers in best practices for literacy instruction. The successful candidate is required to have the following:

- Knowledge of learning theory in elementary reading.
- Experience in developing and delivering professional development to teachers.

Admissions/Marketing Officer

Salary: CI$33,000 – CI$40,000 per annum
The Admissions/Marketing Officer is a member of the school’s Office Staff and reports to the Director of External Relations. Responsibilities include planning and executing school initiatives in the Admissions process, effective communication and marketing of the school collaborating with the Admissions Officer, marketing and other departments as well as other duties as assigned. The Officer needs a sound understanding of education and international schools and must be effective in promoting CIS within the Cayman Islands and international communities ensuring optimal enrollment in the school. The Officer will enjoy working in a fast paced and challenging environment.
The successful candidate is required to have:
- BA/BS degree
- 2+ years’ experience in admissions, education, teaching, marketing and/or communications role

Technology Systems Administrator

Salary: CI$24,000 – 28,000 per annum
The Technology Systems Administrator reports directly to the Director of Technology and will install, configure, and troubleshoot software systems as well as coordinate and administer trainings for all staff. He/She will facilitate the utilization of technology in a multi-platform environment (Windows, Macs, Chromebooks, iPads, etc.) and provide faculty and staff with advanced technical assistance and support; troubleshoot and resolve system hardware, software, and communications failures and conflicts
in dealing with technical issues. He/She will serve as ERP/SIS system expert by entering, analyzing, manipulating and reviewing data for accuracy to produce/create and design standard, custom, and confidential reports. Assist with strategic planning, direction, management, and operation of software infrastructure. The Administrator will also maintain the ERP/SIS environment and recommend improvements in processes and workflow based on changing needs of the school. The Administrator will enjoy working in a fast paced and challenging environment, the position has many holidays based on the school calendar so benefits from 8 weeks vacation per year. The successful candidate is required to have the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
- At least 2+ years’ experience leading technological and administrative services

- In -depth knowledge of computer systems
- Ability to coordinate with software system vendors
