KIS International School is currently looking for enthusiastic, qualified and experienced Primary Student Support Teacher (SEN) to work collaboratively within a PYP team environment (EY3-G5). The role of the Primary Support Teacher is to work collaboratively with the teachers and families to assist students who may require additional support to reach their full potential. This position is available beginning in August of the academic year 2021-2022.
Requirements:
Primary Teaching Qualifications to degree level or equivalent
Speciality and/or experience working with students with educational needs (SEN)
Ability to work across the primary school with all teachers, offering in class and pull out support sessions
Able to work collaboratively within the student support team
Able to collaboratively develop and implement student support plans
Excellent interpersonal skills
Able to support assessment and interpret data
Participant in the KIS School Community
Professional Attitude
Experience working with student support groups
Ability to live overseas and experience different cultures
Experience with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) an asset but not essential
