KIS International School is currently looking for enthusiastic, qualified and experienced Primary Student Support Counselor to work collaboratively within a PYP team teaching environment (EY1-G5). The role of the Primary Counselor is to work collaboratively within the student support team and with the teachers and families to assist students who may require additional support to reach their full potential. This position is available beginning in August of the academic year 2021-2022.
Primary Counseling Qualifications to degree level or equivalent
Experience with school counselling (occupational therapy, language, and learning support experience an asset)
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team
Excellent interpersonal skills
Participant in the KIS School Community
Ability to live overseas and work within different cultures
Experience with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) an asset but not essential
