This is a unique position to oversee planning and operations for the Qatar Foundations group of schools. The role will involve:

 Develop plans of long-range goals and objectives for the school system and provide opportunities for staff and community to engage in long-range planning.
 Develop and implement operational plans and processes to accomplish strategic goals set by PUE and coordinate and oversee the work of all schools both from an academic and business perspective.
 Report periodically on all school operations. Evaluate the school programs academically, advise PUE management on school needs, and make recommendations to PUE for meeting those needs.
 Ensure that all schools are provided with the necessary administrative support functions in a cost-efficient way. Identify opportunities for sharing of new support functions and to increase overall efficiency where relevant.
 Consolidate individual reports from schools to report aggregated key KPI’s (academic and financial) to PUE.
 Develop plans in light of the business scenarios to determine potential business impact.
 To design and develop various business models, financial models, economic models which will provide the PUE management sufficient information that will aid in the business planning and decision making.
 Provide a financial projection that shows the financial resource implication for each developed scenario and to develop criteria for evaluating different scenarios.
 Recommend to PUE management an annual budget that is realistic in terms of the schools’ resources and which reflects priorities of PUE and regularly report on budget usage.
 Offer professional advice to PUE on items requiring organization-level action, with appropriate recommendations based on thorough study and analysis.
 Regularly observe the program in schools and work in collaboration with learning & Innovation, Strategic Initiatives and other relevant departments for ongoing development of the program.
 Inform the community about schools’ matters through reports and other informational materials and participate in appropriate community organizations and functions to obtain support for the attainment of schools’ goals.
 Solicit, give attention to, and respond to problems and opinions of community groups and individuals and inform the community about schools’ matters through reports and other informational materials.
 Performs such other duties and responsibilities as shall be assigned to him, from time to time, by the Line Manager.

Manager of QF schools Policy & Risk (K-12)

This is a unique position to lead the Policy and Risks management for the Qatar Foundations group of K-12 schools. The role will involve:

⮚ Leads the formulation, development, implementation, and revision of core PUE Division policies, utilizing original policy research and analysis, review of QF Policies in line with national and international regulations.
⮚ To have a structured approach and gather a collection of data and information to eventually build policies that resolve the issues in-line with other international and regional pre-university educational institutions.
⮚ Work closely with QF schools and divisions to understand their business strategies and priorities while suggesting how a new or amended policy can add value to them.
⮚ Plans, initiates, leads, manages, and oversees major PUE Policy studies and analysis. Reviews and develops major PUE Policy study proposals, and prepare PUE policy recommendations.
⮚ Writes policy briefs, summaries and makes oral statements to communicate the results of PUE Policy studies. Leads and oversees the communication of PUE policies for all PUE, its Schools and Centers.
⮚ Work closely with QF schools and divisions to understand their business strategies and priorities while suggesting how a new or amended policy can add value to truly become a strategic business fraternity for them.
⮚ Ensure that all process and practices for the required recourses are undertaken in an ethical and professional manner.
⮚ Advise the PUE leadership team on the need for new and/or revised policies and make policy recommendations based on data and inputs from the school level.
⮚ Provides guidance in the planning, development, and implementation of critical special projects associated with the maintenance and enhancement of PUE’s policies.
⮚ Establishes template formats, logical structures for communication and coordinates, integrates, and manages policy information appearing on the different communication channels.
⮚ Facilitate discussions/input from school administrators regarding all major policies.
⮚ Provides guidance and assistance to the internal and external communities, as appropriate, in the understanding and interpretation of PUE policies.
⮚ Collaborate with school leaders, consultants, and lead reviewer to ensure that risk protocols are in place and followed.
⮚ Communicate with QF Risk, HSSE, Communications and other Task Force members regarding Risk management within the schools.
⮚ Establish internal office procedure for Risk response.
⮚ Lead continued development and amendments to CIS Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to facilitate accreditation process for QF Schools.
⮚ Serve as focal point for QF Schools accreditation process (MSA, NEASC, IB, CIS).
⮚ Support QF Schools throughout accreditation process.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and highly motivated qualified Secondary School Islamic Studies Teacher. (Being Qualified to teach Arabic Language would be an advantage)

Teachers will:
• Work in partnership with parents in providing a quality education experience for all the children
• Coordinate with the grade level team and specialists, plans and delivers a program of study designed to teach the curricular standards, benchmarks and outcomes, while meeting the individual needs, interests and abilities of the student, for the enhancement of student learning.
• Conducting interesting, well-planned and well-paced classes, using a variety of instructional techniques, differentiation, strategies, and media appropriate to the lesson and the needs and capabilities of the students; Advising students on ways to improve and maintain performance.
• Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons according to PRE UNIVERSITY EDUCATION and regulatory safeguarding requirements including but not limited to the provisions of the PRE UNIVERSITY EDUCATION Child Protection Policy

Attributes & Experience:

• A certified teaching qualification, such as B.Ed, PGCE or equivalent (PGCE must be accompanied by a subject relevant Bachelor’s Degree)
