The International Academy - Amman

The International Academy - Amman

The International Academy - Amman (IAA) is an IB World School that offers the IB MYP and IB DP. The Primary school (up to grade 5) uses a school-based curriculum that is inspired by UK Literacy/English Language Arts, Australian Mathematics and the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). The school grounds combine Middle Eastern and modern influences in its beautiful setting adjacent to the King Hussein Park. The school has excellent facilities that range from its extensive libraries and sports areas to classrooms featuring interactive technology and hands-on science labs. The contemporary art and music facilities foster creativity and self-expression. Students form lasting friendships while cultivating a respect for the environment and concern for those less fortunate. IAA’s Portrait of a Graduate articulates its aim to graduate students who combine international mindedness with a love for their country and who are resilient, genuine, independent, confident, responsible and adaptable.
