Qatar Academy Al Khor

Qatar Academy Al Khor

Qatar Academy Al-Khor was founded in 2008. It is situated in the coastal city of Al-Khor, approximately 50 kilometers north of the capital city of Doha. The school serves students from the age of 3 to 18 (ECEGrade12) meeting the educational needs of the rapidly growing Community of Al-Khor. Our student population predominantly comprises students from the local and regional communities; however, QAK teaching staff are drawn from a diverse background and multiple nationalities to facilitate our international approach. Students are placed in mixed gender classrooms in Primary (PK-5), in gender segregated classrooms in Middle Years (Gr. 6-10) and mixed gender classrooms again for the Diploma Programme (Gr. 11-12). QAK is a full IB school offering the three IB programmes.
