CIS is looking for a teaching assistant to assist the Primary Student Support Services Team. The SSST teaching assistant provides individual and small group assistance to any students who may need it to enable them to fully participate in learning experiences and activities (in English and/or Chinese). Secondary School Counsellor (maternity cover)


Chinese International School is seeking maternity cover for a Secondary School Counsellor (social and emotional support) from 18th October 2021 to 8th April 2022. Working with a team of three other counsellors, you would have your own counselling room and be managing a caseload of students between the age of 11 years and 18 years. You would also have the opportunity to contribute to the teaching of lessons including; child protection, relationships and sexuality, drugs and alcohol. You would also support a peer mentoring programme.

We are looking for candidates that:
Have a recognised counselling qualification
Have experience working as a counsellor for this age group.
Are comfortable keeping counselling records
Can work as part of a team with other counsellors, pastoral staff and teachers.
Ideally, have experience working as a counsellor in a school setting
